NEW YORK - Lev L. Dassin, the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Joseph M. Demarest, Jr., the Assistant Director-in-Charge of the FBI’s New York Field Division, announced today that Paul Greenwood, 61, of North Salem, N.Y., and Stephen Walsh, 64, of Sands Point, N.Y., were arrested this morning on conspiracy, securities fraud and wire fraud charges.

With a long list of retailers going bankrupt, now would not be a good time to be purchasing retailer gift cards. Forecasters speculate that 2009 is going to diametrically worse for retailers; the list of bankruptcy in 2008 could be small in contrast to what we will see in 2009. Here they come. At the end of 2008, all the social and personal signs of a real depression were absent. They are making themselves present now.
