This section is for you, the consumer. If you are having credit difficulties, or an institution has wronged you, than let us know. We here at corporateabuse.net are always thinking of away to bite back at the greedy conglomerates, and their minion subjects that lack understanding, or customer service skills.
So here is the deal, the internet does wonder with “key words.” So let’s say Target calls you up and starts to push you, or degrade you, or threaten you. The first thing you need to do is get a full contact name (first and last) i.e. the customer rep. that is talking to you, write this down along with time they are calling you, and all the details you can provide. If your story is well articulated, we can help publish your story. Now you are saying “this is no different than any other website”, well if we publish the customer service reps. name, than the whole world including future employeers can see his/her working resume. These kinds of story in the long run can help deter these customer service reps. from acting like you are taking money out of their pockets.

I want to fight Ford because I owned a 2004 Ford Freestar. What can I do to make Ford take responsibility and correct these issues?
We are having a problem with our Ford F350 Pick-up Truck. The problem started under warranty when the Turbo charger over boosted and stretched the bolts on the head gasket. Even though we reported the problem and left the vehicle numerous times at the dealer, they "could not duplicate the problem". The vehicle engine was reving on it's own sometimes when we were at a stop light. Then we started spraying antifreeze and loosing 1 gallon of antifreeze on each 4 hour trip we took. This, they "could not find anyplace where the antifreeze was leaking from" Finally, they admitted that the head gaskets were shot and they did the head gasket job, under warranty.
Less than 50,000 miles later, we noticed that the engine was making a tea kettle sound. We took it back to the dealer and they told us now that the head was warped. Having no recourse at that time and needing our vehicle, we had the repair done at a significant cost ($3,000) but they only gave us a 12,000 mile/6 month warranty. Now just about 6 months later and 15,000 miles, it appears that the head gasket has failed again. We have antifreeze in the oil. I do not want to take it back to the same dealer nor do I want to pay for this third repair to the head/head gaskets.
Can you help us ?
NEFCU credit card transfer fee, charge me periodic finance charge purchases $22.39 plus periodic finance charge cash $13.03 total $35.42 a month, never took a cash advance or used the check they sent me. I tried calling and e-mailing no answer. What can I do I read it's a scam. Never late on my payments or missed not fair. When I went to the bank to transfer my credit card the person I spoke to never told me, I would have never changed my card. What can I do please help. I sure I am not the only one being scammed.
I bought furniture from Wickes and Im having difficulty getting a hold of someone who can help me out regarding the extended warranty which was almost $600.00 before the warranty expires, in which I have needed repairs but since the company has declared themselves in bankrupcy I dont know what to do. Im wondering if there is a third party that took over these warranties, if so I would like to know who I may contact. If not, again what can I do if no one is willing to comply with the warranty issues. I would like to see if I can get a reimbursement for the amount indicated. Please help me.
Thank You
The rear springs on my 2001 Mercury Sable with 73,000 miles fractured. My family has owned nearly a dozen Fords previously and never had any spring problems until well over 100,000 miles. Is there any reimbursement for the repair costs?
HI
I HAVE A 2000 LINCOLN TOWN CAR AND THE FRONT FENDERS ARE RUSTED THROUGH.THE CAR WAS PURCHASED NEW IN DECATUR ILL. AND HAS HAD THE BEST OF CARE.THERE ARE HUNDEREDS OF THESES CARS WHERE I LIVE. LOVE THE CAR. A LITTLE UPSET ABOUT THE FENDERS. I WAS IN THE AUTOMOTIVE FIELD AND I KNOW THAT A CAR OF THIS CALLIBUR SHOULD NOT RUST OUT.WE ALSO HAVE A 2000 FORD FOCUS AND IT IS NOT RUSTED OUT. I HAVE A 15 YEAR OLD DODGE TRUCK THAT IS NOT RUSTED OUT.
We purchased a 2005 Ford Explorer in May ’08 w/38000 mi. on it
Car fax, at that time, indicated a new transmission was installed on 2/9/07 @ 27643 mi. This was a major selling point for us!
Well, lately the transmission has been acting up so we took it to our mechanic, who tells us it currently needs a new transmission. The car currently has 48953 mi on it. He encourages us to investigate.
We called the dealership who installed the transmission in 2/07, they said it had not been replaced, but other parts (relating to the trans) were replaced. We requested a copy of the service order faxed to us. Once rec’d, codes and wording are very confusing but we believe it to indicate that the transmission was replaced. Also the service tech we spoke to told us the warranty was a 3 yr/36k mi so a replacement now would not be covered.
We believe this transmission has a major defect if, in fact, it was replaced @ 27643 and the new one now has only 21000 mi on it.
We called Ford Motor Co Service Dept. Based on their records from the VIN #, they told us the transmission was replaced in 2/07 (assuming they were billed for such from the dealer!?!). We were also told that the warranty was changed on the ’05 Explorer transmission to 3 yr/75k mi. (why wasn’t the length of term changed also?). They also told us that the new transmission did not come with a new warranty of its own – it fell under the old warranty (lack of product confidence?)
So here we are…. We’ve had this vehicle for 8 months; we’ve put 11k miles on it and it needs major repairs that were evident to others prior to our purchase and we can’t get a straight answer-
Did the dealership replace the transmission in ’07 or not? If not, what was done to correct the problem and why was Ford Motor Co. billed for a new transmission? If it was replaced, why are these transmissions going bad after only 20-25k miles? And why won’t Ford stand behind their product? Times are hard for the car companies but they’re hard for us too. We’re a middle income family. We are not in a position financially to buy a new transmission for a used vehicle we’ve owned for 1/2 a year. We’ve hit a brick wall and need help!
My experience with American General Finance matches your excellent article written on their unethical business practices.

I have recently been questioning our mortgage company and its lending practices. We were first time home buyers and went to a finance company where we had done small loans with before. We trusted these people but now I am really wondering about things. We received just one document at closing, which was an open end mortgage. We had to meet with the manager on a Saturday, and we were rushed through the signing. Basically it was a sign here, initial there, we will take care of the rest the next week. Well, I finally after 7 years got most of the documents from our loan. We have been requesting this information for the last 2 years. We have now found out it was a HELOC mortgage. We finally received a good faith estimate, which they also call their settlement statement, basically a range of what we were supposedly charged. Our interest rate is 15%, which was not what we were told in the beginning, but we paid points to have it bought down. We have a pre-payment penalty, a ballon payment in 2016, and a mandatory arbitatration clause. There was not a 3 day right to cancel, a truth in lending statement. We bought a modular home which cost $41,898.00 now we find out the HELOC states our initial line of credit was $49,941. and the initial advance was $47,178.88. So where did the approx. $6000.00 go? We have made payments for the last 7 years and I requested a payoff statement as of December 2008 and it was 50,521.68 with a per diem interest 15.90. We were also charged for a single premium insurance at the cost of $1160.00 which we were unaware of. I'm not sure if any of this makes any sense to anyone, because I am having a hard time understanding it myself. We were very naive buyers, but we really felt secure with borrowing from this company, and expected them to be open and honest with us. We had not questioned any of this before, but my husband became very ill a couple of years ago, and we were told we had disability insurance, which is a whole other story that I won't go into. My husband became disabled and we waited 18 months on SSDI but got behind one payment during his illness. When I try to talk to the branch manager about any of this she threatens foreclosure, which she tells me, they can make us move out immediately. I have been trying to read some info on the net about HELOC's and open end mortgages, but I am starting to get more confused, the more I read. Am looking for anyone elses imput if at all possible. Thanks
Anita
