That’s right Comcast is now teaming up with Best Buy to coerce the consumer into purchasing the overpriced packages of xfinity, or whatever else Comcast can do to take your money. Kind of like an ambulance chaser, and the car wreck.

We recently were discussing Comcast issues with a online media mogul. And in general talk, he informed us that he was being bothered by a Comcast employee at a Best Buy store in Portland, OR. The Best Buy employee was asked why was Comcast allowed to infiltrate their stores, and the reply was, you guessed it “I don’t know.”

It used to be back in the good old days a consumer could head down to an electronics store, purchase their wants, and head home. That later evolved into driving to a mass chain store, purchasing a product, and being told that an extended warranty was a necessity. Now, customers have to deal with the extended warranty headache, the geek squad rip-off, and the Comunistcast package being shoved down their throat. Here is an example sales pitch from the Taunton Best Buy Store “Free Gas? Free Grocery? Hey, would you like up to $225.00 of cash to use anyway you want? Sign up for Comcast services at TAUNTON BEST BUY Dee, Miko and John  are available… Come see us TODAY!!!

So why the fuss about Comcast’s subtle takeover of Best Buy? Consumers are already on edge about spending money. If someone walks into a Best Buy store, and they are hounded by multiple people to purchase unwanted products, this could eventually kill sales for Best Buy. So the ultimate question, Brian Dunn, do you feel like a puppet for Brian Roberts?

I had trouble with my Comcast service (both TV and internet) last year and even told them what was wrong.
We need a new amplifier in one of there green pods in our cul-de-sac.
But they would always send a different crew each time and tell me something different.
One guy even said “the ground was too cold”.
Finally couldn’t take it anymore and got this sign made up for $20 and went to Comcast headquarters on Gude Dr.
Stood in front for an hour with everyone coming in and out and driving by giving me the thumbs up and tell me their woes!
Then a executive (?) came out and asked me to leave so I went down the road to the entrance of Gude Dr., not on Comcast property.
Stood there with my sign for about another hour and got more thumbs up and car horn toots.
Then another executive (?) came down and finally asked me what my problem was and I told him.
He promised that he would look into it and send over some service techs.
Within two hours I had two Comcast vans in my cul-de-sac and they told me they fixed the problems.
(I needed a new amplifier - Exactly what I told them for months! )
Feel free to share my story …
If you want Comcast to fix anything just get your little $20 sign and a few hours of your time and things will get done.
Today, my email is down … glad I saved my sign!
Feel free to share my story on your wonderful website.
